Introducing…my handsome HUSBAND! I cannot say enough about this man I married. He has shown me a life I never knew was possible, brought me closer to God, and continues to amaze me every day with his very odd but adorable sense of humor, his intelligence, and most of all his love for others. He is a gift from God.
To my best friends, Mom, Darcy and Sophia: thank you for being such a big part of our day but more importantly, of my life. I love you!
I’m so excited to share these images of our big day with you! I have to give a big cheers to my amazing photographers. I must admit, I put together quite the team for our wedding. Jeremy, Colleen, and Rich have been great fiends of mine for years and I’m so blessed that they all agreed to take my orders all day 😉 Just kidding…so blessed that they agreed to share their talents and hard work with us. We couldn’t be happier with how our images turned out. And we had so much FUN with them. In the wise words of my husband, “Colleen is just like you…but she’s funnier!”
Here is a look at our vendors:
Church: Calvary Community Church, Pastor Carl. We were baptized here together 2 weeks before our wedding. We love our church family!
Videography: Cali, A Sound Impression. Cali and I have done so many weddings together, I can’t even count. She’s a great friend and the best at what she does!!
Hair: Jenna Smith, Eve A Salon. Another great friend, Jenna is the sweetest and most talented hair girl
Makeup: Natalie Bartling @ Sweet Jane Salon…definitely a gem and my new favorite!
Flowers: Lindsey, Petals to Platinum (and Jeremy her hubby made our paper airplanes)! They really went above and beyond. Top notch, best in the biz!
Cake: This was a no-brainer…Donna Roehrs, The Lincoln Cake Lady
Dress: Ellynne’s Bridal, of course!
Venue: Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska
Music: This might have been my favorite part of planning our wedding. We have so many talented friends & family! Our church musicians were friends of ours, Dan, Ben, and Phil. Dan also played in our reception’s opening band (love that!) with Anthony and Andy. These are all “book kids,” people who work with Grant at Southwestern…some of the best people on the planet! And how lucky are we to have my brother-in-law’s band play at our reception – Greg G & Route 3. You can find them in venues thorough Lincoln on weekends. They play 80s covers and were the highlight of our night!
Jewelry: Sartor Hamman Jewelers, I got to photograph their family wedding early this spring. The Hammans are some of the most considerate, humble, and sweet people I’ve ever done business with. Oh, and their jewelry is pretty spectacular.
Did I mention how much I LOVED our flowers!?
